Software Fine Tuning

We come across many clients who have implemented bare minimum functions or just essential minimum required ERP functionalities. This is due to time, budget constraints and implementation complexity. After ‘go live’ they never get a chance to revisit the implementation due to various reasons. They manage the system on a problem-to-problem basis, without addressing the root cause. Software fine-tuning provides an opportunity to revisit implementation.

We have worked with clients who implemented systems decades ago, but did not have proper in-house expertise to manage the system. Or, due to high employee turnover, some clients operated with tribal knowledge, without understanding the best options and functions of ERP systems. At times, we have also come across systems with wrongly implemented solutions. Software fine-tuning provides the opportunity to address these issues.

Software fine-tuning provides customers with the opportunity re-evaluate the system they implemented based on lessons learned, and also provide them with the opportunity to incorporate new features and functionalities that can truly enhance their systems and businesses.

Business Process Reengineering

There are several reasons why customers need to revisit business processes. Businesses grow all the time, but the business processes are not always aligned with business growth. New functionalities and features introduced through ERP updates may simplify functionalities, hence clients may need to update processes. Also, many clients go through a steep learning curve during initial ERP implementation, and at times take the ERP solution at face value. They rely on cumbersome business processes, without the knowledge of new system features and functions. Using a third party to evaluate business processes, then updating or fine-tuning these processes, is the best way to optimize business outcomes and profitability.

Custom Development and Management Reports

Customization becomes necessary to bridge gaps in software installations and integrations. We strive to simplify customization. It is well known that most of the pre-built reports in ERP do not meet management needs. We have the ability to build meaningful management reports for our customers’ businesses. We use ERP toolsets to build reports, or we have the know-how to use third party reporting software. We have the ability to built new UXOne interactive charts and graphs as an alternative to reports that might provide interactive insights to management needs.

Software Training

We have expertise in providing software training using our own training material developed and enhanced throughout years of implementation. We have consultants who were lead instructors in the past for JDE. We have many years of experience running training classes online and in-person, both locally and international.

Systems Integration

Every organization designates a system of record (SOR) or a source system of record (SSoR) for their business. However, in their software eco-system, they will have specialized software that needs integration to the SOR . We are capable of integrating any system with JDE through simple means, and/or sophisticated means through an orchestrator.

We also have experience guiding our clients in incorporating EDI functions to meet business needs with large trading partners.

Software Audit

Software audits are integral in the up-keep of an optimized system. Often system audits bring unforeseen problems to the surface which was overlooked during software implementations. Most ERP systems are implemented with tight timelines and budgets. During implementation, large cross-functional teams do not have the time to validate cross-functional solutions. Software audits provide customers with the opportunity to examine and rectify audit gaps.
